Vixens Under 9's
A really challenging first 5 minutes to the game and there was concern for a looooong hour ahead....But Rubie then decided enough is enough and she delivered a fantastic performance and effort with 3 goals during the game.
Then Layla went for goal...it looked like it was going out but somehow she got the ball just right at an impossible angle, hit the opposite post and went in!!
We also had some U8s with us to help with our subs in Grace and Aaliyah’s who were half the size of the Down Grange defense but showed incredible tenacity, what a introduction to league football!!
Rubie was our captain and Down Grange chose our no1 Savannah as girl of the game..
Well Done girls all that hard work in training is paying off!
Vixens Under 10's
Saturday morning started with an away trip to Petersfield for the U10 Vixens. Being short on numbers playing 6 aside with no subs available the girls were in for a tough morning but they absolutely smashed it.
The coaches agreed it was the best display from the girls all season with plenty of link up play and a brilliant understanding of the game knowing where to be and when while playing some brilliant passing football.
Jessica and Bella both scored two brilliant goals each. Plus Maisy made a great save with quick reactions tipping a close range shot around the post when it looked destined for the net.
The whole team played amazing and you can really see how hard they work for each other every single match. Well done girls keep up the good work!
