After an epic season knocking out some big hitters on the way, the under 12 Vixens all headed to Winklebury football complex to play the final.
Bournemouth are a very talented skillful academy side and today, the girls did coach Simon, themselves and the club proud.
They fought for every ball, for every inch and for every minute of the game. The Vixens dominated for large periods but unfortunately 2 break away goals saw defeat for them today.
A 3-1 defeat that did not reflect the skill and passion shown on the pitch, saw the girls head home with a few tears, but a squad of players justifiably proud of themselves.
Player of the game was New Street Lily!
A big day full of emotion, but the future of girls football in black and green is bright!
